Recommended Action:
Approve award of Request for Bid #25-262, Rehabilitation of Lift Station Wet Wells and Discharge Piping to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Restoration and Protective Solutions, LLC for a total cost of $180,049.80. This work is to perform rehabilitation work to restore the functionality and structural integrity of multiple existing lift station wet wells and discharge piping.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Fund - Operations budget as approved in the FY2025 budget process. Funding for this expenditure comes from rate revenues.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed Contractor to furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and all other appurtenances required to successfully perform rehabilitation work to restore the functionality and structural integrity of multiple existing lift station wet wells and discharge piping.
Therefore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award Request for Bid #25-262, Rehabilitation of Lift Station Wet Wells and Discharge Piping to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Restoration and Protective Solutions, LLC for a total cost of $180,049.80.
The completion time is 90 calendar days.
