BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Community Services is requesting the LED Lighting Retrofit for three (3) football fields at Ann & Chuck Dever Park and the horse arena at Carmalita Park. The work includes providing the required fixtures, electrical enclosures, mounts, hardware, wire harnesses, control cabinets, project management, removal of existing structures, and all installation labor, materials, and equipment required for assembly. This purchase is in accordance with the prices, terms, and conditions of the Clay County Request for Bid #23/24-074.
Therefore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award the Piggyback File #25-357, LED Lighting Retrofit for Ann & Chuck Dever and Carmalita Parks, per the Clay County Request for Bid #23/24-074, which was awarded to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC of Oskaloosa, Iowa, for a total cost of $854,250.
