a) Approve the Land Lease Agreement Terminations for Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and Charlotte County Fire/EMS in Babcock Ranch; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Land Lease Agreement Terminations.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Construction on the permanent location for the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and Charlotte County Fire/EMS in Babcock Ranch has been completed. With this completion, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office and Charlotte County Fire/EMS will vacate the temporary locations provided by Babcock Ranch.
Approving and signing the Land Lease Agreement Terminations will terminate the land leases and allow Charlotte County to remove the temporary structures and give control of the land these structures were on back to Babcock Ranch.
Facilities, County Attorney’s Office, and Real Estate Services have approved these terminations.
