Background:
Tyler Mann is requesting to vacate a 30’ portion of Missouri Avenue abutting his property located at 3230 Smith Street.
On August 11, 2025, this request was presented to the Planning and Zoning Board (P&Z Board) with a recommendation of approval.
It is staff’s professional opinion that the proposed street vacation is generally consistent with Charlotte County’s Comprehensive Plan, Charlotte County's Code of Laws and Ordinances and other applicable guidelines.
What Action will be accomplished?
If approved, the petition would allow for more developable area on the property. However, the residential development rights will remain the same.
