BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Real Estate Services on behalf of Radio Communications is submitting for approval a Third Amendment to Ground Lease for a tower site located at 12820 Gulfstream Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33981.
The Third Amendment purposes to allow for the addition of a microwave link that will complete the County’s West County network ring; thereby improving the network reliability for the County’s Public Safety Radio System.
Radio Communications and County Attorney’s Office staff have reviewed this request and recommend approval.
