Recommended Action:
Approve Quotes for File #21-369, Public Safety P25 Radio System Maintenance, which is an agreement between Charlotte County and Communications International aka CI, of Vero Beach, Florida, for a total cost of $1,542,832.31. This is to relocate the 911 Call Center, the addition of radio dispatch and RTIC client consoles.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Capital Improvement Project "Sheriff Support Services (Admin HQ) & Hardened 911" as approved in the FY25 budget process. Funding is supplied from the Public Safety Fund - Sherrif, ad valorem.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The agreement for Public Safety P25 Radio System Maintenance was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 11, 2021, for the annual maintenance fee.
This agreement includes under Attachment D, Pricing Discounts, allowing for a 28% price discount for all L3 Harris manufactured equipment purchases.
Quote SWF04142025X, in the amount of $161,877.94 is to relocate 14 primary radio dispatch consoles, infrastructure, and antenna systems to the new Sheriff's Office Administration Building on Loveland Boulevard.
Quote SWF04112025G, in the amount of $1,380,954.37 is to provide 16 additional primary radio dispatch console positions and seven (7) RTIC client console positions for installation at the new Sheriff's Administration Building. Advanced Backup Radio (ABR) Systems will also be included to provide seamless redundant communications to every primary dispatch console in the event of a network failure.
