Recommended Action:
a) Approve award of “Piggyback” to File #26-270, for the purchase of a 33-foot full cabin fire rescue boat, per the General Services Administration (GSA) Contract# 47QSWA18D0015, to the Inventech Marine Solutions, LLC dba Life Proof Boats of Bremerton, Washington for a purchase price of $780,524.78; and
b) Approve Asset #33636 to be sold via auction.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Heavy Equipment Replacement Capital Maintenance Plan as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding in the amount of $102,675.94 provided by Emergency Management Services, to be reimbursed by Capital Projects, ad valorem. $369,821.00 to be provided from the West Coast Inland Navigational District and $308,027.84 from Fire Assessments.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The purpose of this purchase is to secure a firm price for the purchase and delivery of a 33-foot full cabin fire rescue boat to replace asset 33636. Fire rescue boat 33FC-120 features a 22-degree deep-V hull for stability, an aluminum construction with a foam collar for buoyancy, twin 300HP Yamaha outboards for power, and a comprehensive law enforcement package including lights, siren, and communication gear, suitable for demanding marine operations. The prices, terms, conditions, and specifications are from the GSA Contract# 47QSWA18D0015.
Therefore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award the purchase of a 33-foot full cabin fire rescue boat, to Inventech Marine Solutions, LLC dba Life Proof Boats of Bremerton, Washington for a purchase price of $780,524.78, and approve asset #33636 to be sold via auction.
