Approve Resolution authorizing the acquisition of real property or easement interests in real property by any legal means that may be required for the construction of roadway and/or roadway improvements in connection to the Edgewater/Flamingo Corridor Connection Project.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Capital Improvement Project “Edgewater/Flamingo Phase 4 Corridor Connection Design Phase 3-5 / Construct Phase 4” as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding is supplied from the 2014 Sales Tax Extension with available road impact fees to be applied to the applicable expenses.

Background:
Real Estate Services Division is seeking permission to obtain real property to be utilized in the Edgewater/Flamingo Corridor Connection Project as authorized by the Board of County Commissioners. This Resolution will authorize the Real Estate Services Division to acquire by any legal means, parcels or easement interests needed for the Edgewater/Flamingo Corridor Connection Project.
