Approve award of Piggyback File #26-688 for the purchase of one (1) Argo Sasquatch XTX amphibious vehicle from Love Power Equipment, Inc., of Homosassa, Florida, utilizing Florida Sheriffs Association Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0, Fire & Rescue Vehicles, Boats and Equipment, Item 58, for a total purchase price of $192,999.00.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Public Works Pest Management budget as approved in the FY2027 budget process. Funding for the expenditure comes from the General Fund to be reimbursed by the Capital Projects Fund, ad valorem. The annual maintenance and operating costs associated with the Argo Sasquatch XTX is estimated at $17,000.

Background:
The purpose of this purchase is to secure a firm price for the purchase and delivery of an Argo Sasquatch XTX Amphibious Vehicle which will be utilized by Pest Management. This is a highly specialized vehicle designed for high-water, amphibious and difficult-terrain operations. The Florida Sheriffs Association competitively solicited Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0, Fire & Rescue Vehicles, Boats and Equipment, establishing prices, terms, conditions and specifications for the period of April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2027, under Group: High Water Rescue Vehicle UTV, Item 58.
Love Power Equipment, Inc, the nationwide primary vendor for Argo Sasquatch XT.
Therefore, it is determined to be in the best interest of Charlotte County to approve Piggyback Purchase File #26-688 for one (1) Argo Sasquatch XTX amphibious vehicle from Love Power Equipment, Inc., of Homosassa, Florida, for a total purchase price of $192,999.00.
