BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The County acquired the parcel identified as Parcel ID# 412304104004 via Tax Deed. The parcel proposed for disposal has no current or future county need and it meets statutory requirements for a direct sale under Section 125.35(2) Florida Statutes.
Isaac Perez, as an adjacent property owner, contacted the Real Estate Services Division seeking to acquire this County owned property. The remnant parcel is land locked with no access to roadways.
Staff is recommending approval of the direct sale to Isaac Perez for the value of $4,550. In addition, a fee of $300 will be charged to the buyer for administrative costs for the disposal, for a total of $4,850.
If approved by the Board of County Commissioners, Real Estate Services Division staff will prepare the necessary documents and close on the property on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
