BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The Community Action Agency Advisory Board (CAAAB) maintains by-laws that must be reviewed triennially by the County Attorney’s office, as per Community Action Organizational Standards. The 2023 review resulted in the recommendation for changes to certain elements such as officer roles, term limits, and attendance requirements. Those changes were incorporated after a proper period of notice and review by CAAAB members and approved by unanimous vote at the 04.25.2024 regular quarterly CAAAB meeting. The CAAAB requests BCC approval of the amended by-laws.
