BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

Resolution #2024-073 was adopted on May 28, 2024, when drought conditions warranted a countywide burn ban. Over the past week, significant rainfall has mitigated drought conditions in the area, thus reducing the risk of dangerous wildfires. In addition, the long-range forecast indicates continual improvement to these conditions with predicted precipitation reaching levels that are above average. Based on the positive outlook it is recommended that the burn ban be lifted which would rescind Resolution #2024-073.
