Recommended Action:
(a) Approve the annual letter to Clarke Environmental Mosquito Management (“Clarke Environmental”); and
(b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the annual letter.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the General Fund - Public Works Mosquito Control budget as approved in the FY2024 budget process. Funding for the expenditure comes from Ad Valorem.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Yearly letter requested by Clarke Environmental to perform low level flights upon request over densely populated Charlotte County areas as part of Clarke’s congested area plan for the FAA. Clarke Environmental was selected as a backup air treatment company.
