BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The purpose of this quote was to secure the services of a licensed Contractor to successfully replace the tile on the swimming pool, dive well, and surge tanks at the South County Regional Park Pool located at 670 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, Florida, 33950.
After the Request for Quote was received, and reviewed by the Department, they would like to move froward with the project, but quote amount exceeds the bid threshold, making this a request for waive bid procedures.
It is the best interest of the County to approve the waiver of bid procedures and award Request for Quote #24-373, South County Regional Park Pool Tile Replacement, to the lowest responsive, responsible, bidder, AuMiller Pools, LLC, of Winter Park, Florida in the amount of $185,850.
