Conduct a public hearing to consider a Resolution to adopt final assessment for first time assessed property and amended assessment roll for:
One property with a total of one unit in Peace River Shores Street and Drainage Unit Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) for FY24/25.
Budgeted Action:
No action needed. This item will be budgeted as part of the MSBU FY24/25 budget process.

The County has reviewed and updated the MSBU boundaries to make sure that all properties, that are within the boundaries and benefit from the improvements made to the MSBU, are appropriately and fairly assessed. Florida Statute 197.3632 requires that a public hearing be held to adopt resolutions to assess the properties that have not been previously assessed. These assessments will then be included for those new properties on the Notice of Ad Valorem Taxes and Non-Ad Valorem Assessments that is sent to Charlotte County property owners in early November 2024.
