Background:
Jeremy Scott was a Firefighter for 23 years and retired in June of 2024. A negotiated settlement was tentatively reached on July 2, 2024, pending approval of the Board. The settlement is $65,000.00 for four (4) claims that were serious industrial accidents that required significant care over the last three (3) years and will continue to create a large exposure to the County.
