REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION

Recommended Action:
a) Approve award of Request for Bid #24-483, Fiberglass Interceptor Tanks - Annual Contract, to Alpha General Services, Inc., of Sebring, Florida, at the unit prices listed for the term of October 1, 2024, through and including, September 30, 2025, with option to renew for two additional one-year terms; and
b) Authorize the County Administrator to approve annual renewals at the same prices, terms, and conditions. This is an annual contract for the Fiberglass Interceptor Tanks.

No action needed. Supplies stored in inventory and charged out as utilized. Funding for this expenditure comes from various Utility Funds as consumed.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is an annual contract for the purchase of fiberglass interceptor tanks to be utilized by Utilities. Although several firms were notified, only one response was received.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of the County to award Bid #24-483, Fiberglass Interceptor Tanks - Annual Contract to Alpha General Services, Inc., at the unit prices listed on the attached tabulation.
