Recommended Action:
a) Approve award of Request for Bid #24-547, purchase and delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution to Allied Universal Corporation, of Miami, Florida, at the price of $1.67 per gallon, for the term of October 1, 2024, through and including, September 30, 2025; and
b) Authorize County Administrator to approve one additional one-year term, at the same prices, terms and conditions, by mutual consent.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Fund - Operations budget as approved in the FY2024 budget process. Funding for this expenditure comes from rate revenues.

Background:
This is an annual contract for the procurement of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution on an “as required” basis to be used by the Charlotte County Utilities Department.
It is in the best interest of the County to award Request for Bid #24-547, Purchase and Delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution to Allied Universal Corporation, of Miami, Florida, at the price of $1.67 per gallon, for the term of October 1, 2024, through and including, September 30, 2025, with one additional one-year term renewal option, by mutual consent.
