BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

This Request for Proposal was to secure the services of a consultant to perform a Risk and Resilience Assessment and Emergency Response Plan Update for the Utilities Department in compliance with the 2018 America’s Water Infrastructure Act.  It also requires the consultant to develop emergency operation and response plans for the County’s wastewater collection system.

Three proposals were received and evaluated by the Professional Services Committee consisting of Ken Stecher, Operations Manager - Utilities; Justin Dunn, Project Manager - Facilities; and Jeff Keyser, Project Manager - Public Works.  Copies of those proposals are attached, along with a breakdown of the ranking.
