No action needed. Budgeted in the Health Department Fund - Health Department budget as approved in the FY2025 budget process. Funding for the expenditure comes from General Fund ad valorem revenues.

The proposed contract between Charlotte County and the Florida Department of Health is for the operation of the Charlotte County Health Department for the term commencing October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.The contract provides that the State will pay (direct contribution excluding any State authorized fees or other State revenues) $4,409,097 and Charlotte County will provide $856,565 (direct contribution excluding any fees or "other" local revenues), for the operation of the Health Department. Funds for the contract are included in Charlotte County's operating budget for the fiscal year that begins October 1, 2024.
