Recommended Action:
a) Approve a Superseding Resolution which authorizes the County Administrator, or his/her designee, to execute amendments, extensions, terminations, renewals, and novation changes to the lease agreements, as necessary; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The Board approved Resolutions 2022-017, 2023-007, 2023-031, 2024-072, and 2024-140 which authorize the County Administrator, or his/her designee, to execute amendments, extensions, terminations, and novation changes to lease agreements with Community Partners who lease space at the Family Services Center, located at 21500 Gibralter Drive, Port Charlotte, Florida 33952. The lease agreements allow for renewals upon application. The proposed Resolution would also authorize the County Administrator, or his/her designee, to also execute lease renewals.
