Approve award of Request for Letters of Interest File #24-563, Work Order #327 (Contract 15-421), Community Services Park Re-Master Plan with DMK Associates of Venice, Florida for the not-to-exceed amount of $199,985.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Community Services Capital Maintenance Plan as approved in the FY25 budget process. Funding is supplied from Capital Projects, ad valorem.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Community Services is seeking a professional design firm for the re-master plan design for three (3) parks:
Englewood East Park - 11120 Sunnydale Avenue, Englewood (2 acres)
Deep Creek Park - 25555 Sandhill Boulevard, Punta Gorda (6 acres)
Rotonda Park - 100 Rotonda Boulevard, Rotonda (32 acres)
The Scope of Services include, but not be limited to the following: concept planning, presentation preparation, presentation oversight and tracking of public input. Modification of concept planning based on feedback from the public. Pre and final site plan review, surveying, preparation of site plans at 30%,60%, and 100% design. Preparation of final working drawings, specifications meeting standard codes for obtaining bids, all permits and approvals, an opinion of probably costs, construction oversight where applicable and final approval. Public feedback consists of three (3) public meetings per location, working with Community Services to organize public input based on each meeting and prioritizing the general public's feedback along with spatial needs and a narrowed down list of amenities and features. Project timeline is 365 days for 100% design and permitting completion.
