REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION

Recommended Action:
a) Approve award of Request for Bid #24-634, Service and Maintenance of Chillers - Annual Contract to Air Mechanical and Service Corporation of Englewood, Florida at the unit prices bid. Term of contract is to be from January 1, 2025, through and including December 31, 2025; and
b) Authorize the County Administrator to approve the renewal options for up to two additional one-year terms, at the same prices, terms, and conditions, by mutual consent.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is an annual contract for the service and maintenance of chillers. The estimated quantities are listed on the attached tabsheet. This does not include any additional costs for parts of equipment that may be needed for repairs. Parts and equipment for any needed repairs shall be billed at Contractors cost plus 7%, as specified in the contract documents.
After review and evaluation, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Air Mechanical and Service Corporation of Englewood, Florida at the unit prices submitted.
