Background:
Florida Statutes, Section 125.001 authorizes joint meetings with governing bodies of one or more adjacent counties or municipalities to discuss matters regarding land development, economic development, or any other matters of mutual interest. Such meetings must first be authorized by resolution of the governing body, must be publicly noticed, and are for discussion purposes only, not official voting.
