The Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is accepting applications for the following volunteer positions:
Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) - one At-Large Representative, one Mid County, and one West County Representative. (Representatives must be U.S. citizens residing in Charlotte County). The CAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects for MPO Board consideration.
Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) is seeking an experienced representative of the local private for-profit transportation industry. The LCB identifies local service needs and provides guidance to the Community Transportation Coordinator on services for the transportation disadvantaged.
Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) is seeking Elderly Interests Representative. The LCB identifies local service needs and provides guidance to the Community Transportation Coordinator on services for the transportation disadvantaged.
Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) - one Mid County Representative; and one Bicycle Business Representative. The BPAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects for MPO Board consideration.
