BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The purpose of this Agreement is to outline how eligible employees, retirees, and dependents of Charlotte County and the City of North Port may use the health center facilities and receive medical services in a coordinated, efficient, and cost-effective manner. By sharing access to their health centers, Charlotte County and the City of North Port can provide additional locations for care, making services more convenient and accessible for employees, retirees, and dependents. Charlotte County and the City of North Port also recognize that both organizations utilize Crowne Consulting as the medical services administrator for their respective health centers, which supports coordination and makes this shared arrangement practical and efficient.
