BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The purpose of this purchase is to secure a firm price for the purchase and delivery of one (1) 2026 Peterbilt 567, which will be utilized by Utilities and is a new piece of equipment.
The prices, terms, conditions, and specifications are from the statewide Florida Sheriff's Association Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract# FSA25-VEH23.0, Item #72.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of the County to award the purchase of one (1) New 2026 Peterbilt 567 to The Peterbilt Store South FL of Fort Myers, Florida for a total cost of $207,000.
