Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Capital Improvement Project “Harborview Road Widening - Melbourne to I75” as approved in the FY25 budget process. Grant funding will be provided by the Florida Department of Transportation, with matching funds provided from the 2020 Sales Tax Extension.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Real Estate Services Division is seeking permission to obtain real property to be utilized in the Harborview Road Widening Project as authorized by the Board of County Commissioners. These Resolutions will authorize the Real Estate Services Division to acquire by any legal means, those parcels or easement interests needed for the Harborview Road Widening Project. These Resolutions identify the area to acquire by parcel.
Resolution 2023-230 authorizes the acquisition of real property or easement interests by voluntary means for the Harborview Road Widening Project.
Resolution 2024-113 authorizes the acquisition of real property or easement interests by any legal means within the project area for the Harborview Road Widening Project.
