Recommended Action:

Approve the award of Piggyback File #25-531, Repeater Systems, to Iron Bow Technologies LLC of Herndon, Virginia per the Omnia R210404 Technology Contract for the total cost of $295,136.87. This is for the purchase and installment of two separate repeater systems for the Sheriff Admin 911 Project, located at Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office new admin facility on Loveland Road.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Capital Improvement Project “Sheriff Support Services (Admin HQ) & Hardened 911” as approved in the FY25 budget process. Funding is supplied from the 2020 Sales Tax Extension.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

This is for the purchase and installment of two separate repeater systems for the Sheriff Admin 911 Project, located at Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office new admin facility on Loveland Road. These systems are critical for enhancing both cellular and radio communications within the facility to ensure reliable and effective emergency response connectivity. The prices, terms, and conditions, and specifications are from the Omnia R210404 Technology Contract, which has been reviewed by the department.

 

Therefore, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award the Piggyback File #25-531, Repeater Systems, to Iron Bow Technologies LLC of Herndon, Virginia per the Omnia R210404 Technology Contract for the total cost of $295,136.87.
