Approve deductive Change Order #2 to Piggyback, #25-484, Energreen Alpha Eagle 33FT Boom Mower, to reduce the total by $1,547.14, which was awarded to Energreen America Inc. of Aiken, South Carolina.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Heavy Equipment Replacement Plan as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding is provided from the Vehicle Replacement fund and will be charged back to Public Works, Maintenance and Operations.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The original purchase and delivery of an Alpha Eagle 33FT Boom Mower to be utilized by Public Works, replacing PN# 34133 was approved by the Board on 6/10/2025. The prices, terms, conditions, and specifications are from the statewide Florida Sheriff's Association Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract # FSA20-EQU18.0, Heavy Equipment. Change order #1 was approved on 10/28/25 for price increase that took effect on 5/1/2025 due to tariffs on imported items.
Deductive change order #2 is needed due to the removal of two (2) quick couplings (ENGOKT01000809) as the quote contained a quantity of four (4) and only two (2) are required.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of Charlotte County to approve deductive Change Order #2 to Piggyback, #25-484, Energreen Alpha Eagle 33FT Boom Mower, to reduce the total by $1,547.14, which was awarded to Energreen America Inc. of Aiken, South Carolina for a new total of $360,992.50.
