BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

Charlotte County is required by Stump Pass groin permit to manage the previously established shorebird mitigation area on Knight Island, inclusive of specific management conditions relating to predator control measures. Previously these predator control measures were addressed under the Feral Swine Removal agreement. Due to increased predation, coupled with the logistics of trapping on the barrier islands the predation control requirements are no longer practical in the Feral Swine

Removal agreement workload.
