a) Approve Resolution extending the temporary allowance for Recreational Vehicles used as living quarters for hurricane recovery; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
On October 25, 2022, the Board passed Resolution 2022-142 allowing the temporary use of recreational vehicles and structures to be used as living quarters for two years. The state legislature passed SB 250 in 2023, which allows temporary use of recreational vehicles for three years from the date of emergency declaration. The adoption of this Resolution would be consistent with state statutes.
