BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

body

Background:

This is for a Fixed Base Automatic Meter Reading System (AMR) providing AMR service to all of Charlotte County Utilities service areas/customers originally approved by the Board of Commissioners on May 24, 2011.

Amendment #1 was in accordance with Article 12.3 of the contract which provided for labor and services necessary to facilitate an accelerated deployment of the AMR system.

Amendment #2 was due to Federal funding requirements from FDEP, which stated “Supplementary Conditions for Construction Procurement” must be incorporated into the current AMR project contract.

Amendment #3 was for the extension of the current contract through September 30, 2025, and amended the pricing schedule.

Amendment #4 is for the updating of the parts listing with new part numbers and contract extension through and including September 30, 2026, with the same contract pricing.
