Approve award of Piggyback File #26-138, Network Refresh for Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, per Sourcewell Contract #121923-CDWG, and award to CDW LLC dba CDW Government (CDW-G) located in Chicago, Illinois for a total cost of $377,958.49.

No action needed. A budget adjustment in the amount of $377,959 to the Public Safety fund will be brought forward in the first quarter budget adjustments. Funding for this expenditure comes from ad valorem.

Background:
Information Technology is requesting the purchase of a 3-year Network Refresh. The purpose of the network refresh project is to improve performance, security, and scalability to handle increasing demands from more devices and newer technologies. Key reasons include boosting speed and reliability, protecting against modern cyber threats with updated security protocols, and preparing the infrastructure to support future growth and new applications. This is a piggyback purchase off the Sourcewell Contract #121923-CDWG, awarded to CDW LLC dba CDW Government (CDW-G).
Therefore, it is in the best interest of the County to approve award of Piggyback File #26-138, Network Refresh for CCSO, per Sourcewell Contract #121923-CDWG, awarded to CDW LLC dba CDW Government (CDW-G) located in Chicago, Illinois for a total of $377,958.49.
