Recommended Action:
a) Approve Resolution authorizing the County Administrator, or designee, to prepare and execute certain Public Safety grant applications, agreements, and any subsequent amendments thereto and providing an effective date; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Resolution 2024-226 authorizes the County Administrator, or his/her designee, to execute project proposals, pre-application submittals and procedure, grant applications, and grant agreements or subsequent amendments thereto related to certain federal grants. County staff recommends extending this delegated authority to include additional public safety related funding programs and agencies.
