Approve Change Order to Request for Bid #25-307, Walking Path at Carmalita and South Gulf Cove Parks to Pavement Maintenance LLC of Fort Myers, Florida in the amount of $22,523.80. This change order is to adjust the estimated quantities to actual installed quantities.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
Request for Bid #25-307 was approved on 5-13-25 by the Board for a total of $360,420.38. During construction it was determined that the as-built quantities were higher than what was estimated on the bid forms. Total quantities for 4” thick walkways were over by 360 SY, 6” thick walkways were 38 SY less than estimated and the Type B stabilization was 291 SY over the estimates. The total for these changes resulted in an increase of $22,523.80.
Therefore, it is recommended to approve Change Order 1 to Request for Bid #25-307, Walking Path at Carmalita and South Gulf Cove Parks to Pavement Maintenance LLC of Fort Myers, Florida for an additional $22,523.80, for a total of $382,944.18.
Completion Time was 180 calendar days with a liquidated damages rate of $1,170 per calendar day
