Background:
The applicant and the property owner, Sandra W. Welles Ranch LLC, is requesting this application to certify Sending Zones covering approximately 27.86? acres, which include 240 platted lots in Blocks 19, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 & 30 and within the Del Verde Section R subdivision, generally located north of Bermont Road and west of SR 31, in the East County area. If this application is approved by the Board of County Commissioners, the proposed SZs will certify 240 units of transferrable density, and zero units will be retained.
This CSZ request is consistent with Future Land Use (FLU) Policy 1.2.9: TDU Sending Zones and meets two of 11 criteria as set forth in this policy. This CSZ request meets the County TDU Code (Section 3-9-150) requirement.
