b) Authorize Chairman to sign.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is a passthrough agreement between Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners and Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office regarding the award of the Bridging Immigration Deficits Experience Nationwide grant. This MOU is required as Charlotte County is applying for the grant on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office. The MOU provides that any award from this grant be transferred to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office who will ensure compliance with the terms of the grant award.
