a) Approve Resolution for Budget Adjustment (BA26-245) in the amount of $320,000; and

b) Approve new Capital Improvement Project “Education Way Signal Hardening”.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

Charlotte County was allocated $2,500,000 under the Local Transportation Projects Program contained within the Senate Bill 2500 Conference Report, 2025-26 General Appropriations Act for improvements at the Education Way at Murdock Circle and Education Way at Cochran Boulevard intersections. This funding will be utilized for construction services to transition the signalized span wire intersections to mast arms.
