BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
A 2026-2029 Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) is required to allow for the implementation of State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program year 2026-2027 (SHIP27). This LHAP contains those strategies that have been efficiently and effectively in use and will continue. Strategies included in the 2023-2026 LHAP that are not included in this LHAP remain under development, pilot, or are otherwise in consideration for revision, consolidation, or removal. This LHAP will be brought back to the Board for amendment, once those determinations are made, if necessary.
Provided for consideration is the Resolution adopting the incorporated 2026-2029 LHAP; and the Certification form for Chairman signature.
