Recommended Action:
a) Approve File #26-172, for the purchase of two (2) 2028 E-One Cyclone Fire Rescue Pumpers, from Matheny Fire & Emergency, of Ocala, Florida; piggybacking off the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0, at the unit cost of $1,154,844.17; and
b) Authorize Property #30579 and #31199 to be sold at auction.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Heavy Equipment Replacement Plan as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding is provided from Fire/Rescue Municipal Service Benefit Unit assessments.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This fire rescue pumper purchase will be piggybacking off the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0, Fire & Rescue Vehicles, Boats and Equipment.
The Awarded Contractor has been contacted and agreed to honor pricing from the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract, the acknowledgement of the piggyback purchase pricing, and specifications are attached.
These two (2) Fire Rescue Pumpers will be replacing property #30579 and #31199.
