REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION

Recommended Action:
a) Approve award of Request for Bid #26-618, Removal and Transportation of Domestic Wastewater - Annual Contract to Fehl Safe Water Systems of Bradenton, Florida, at the unit prices attached, with the initial contract term of November 1, 2026 through and including September 30, 2027; and
b) Authorize the County Administrator to approve renewal options for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms at the same prices, terms and conditions, by mutual consent.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Utilities Operations and Maintenance Fund - Operations budget as approved in the FY2027 budget process. Funding for this expenditure comes from rate revenues.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is an annual contract for the removal, transportation and disposal of domestic wastewater and residuals from facilities owned and operated by the County.
After review and evaluation, it has been determined to be in the best interest of the County to award, Fehl Safe Water Systems of Bradenton, Florida at the unit prices submitted.
