Recommended Action:
a) Approve the Novation of the Contract for Request for Proposal #26-189, EOC Facility Emergency Food Catering - Annual Contract, as Forty-One Catering, LLC, d/b/a Mattison’s 41, of Sarasota, Florida, has been acquired by Mattison’s 41, LLC, d/b/a Mattison’s 41, of Sarasota, Florida; and
b) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Novation.

Background:
On March 10, 2026, the Board approved award of Request for Proposal #26-189, EOC Facility Emergency Food Catering - Annual Contract, to Forty-One Catering, LLC, d/b/a Mattison’s 41, of Sarasota, Florida. The company has now been acquired by Mattison’s 41, LLC d/b/a Mattison’s 41. It is therefore requested that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Contract Novation on this contract from Forty-One Catering, LLC, to Mattison’s 41, LLC.
