Approve award of Request for Letters of Interest #26-106, Work Order #364 (Contract #15-421), Northwest Port Charlotte Waterway MSBU Maintenance Dredge to Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc., of Bonita Springs, Florida, for the not-to-exceed amount of $197,720.

No action needed. Budgeted in the Public Works MSBU/TU Dredging Capital Maintenance Plan as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding is supplied from Northwest Port Charlotte Waterway MSBU assessments.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is for an engineering firm to perform and provide all required tasks in support as requested by the Northwest Port Charlotte Waterway MSBU advisory Board, with project limits including all exterior areas and parts of interior areas of Apollo, Cheshire, and Venus waterways, and Myakka River channel.
The complete scope of services, along with the associated fees, is attached. Public Works has reviewed and approves the scope and fee submitted and recommends award to Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc., of Bonita Springs, Florida, for the not-to-exceed amount of $197,720.
