Recommended Action:
a) Approve File #26-170, for the purchase of four (4) 2026 Freightliner M2 2-Door AEV Type I Ambulances including Stryker Power Pro XT cot, FLIR K2 camera and Activetek Induct Active Pure Technology, to ETR, LLC, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, to piggyback off the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0, at the unit cost of $493,800 and one (1) Stryker Pro Model 6252 at the unit cost of $4,682; and
b) Authorize Property #35927, #35929, and #36018 to be sold at auction.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Heavy Equipment Replacement Plan as approved in the FY26 budget process. Funding is provided from General Fund revenues reimbursed from Capital Projects, ad valorem.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
This is for the purchase of four (4) 2026 Freightliner M2 2-Door AEV Type I Ambulances. Pricing includes present graphics/chevron paint layout, Stryker Power Pro XT cot, Ferno monitor brackets LP15, ETR trashcan/holder, FLIR K2 camera and Activetek Induct Active Pure Technology. One (1) ambulance, that was new and not a replacement, needed to be outfitted with a Stryker Pro Model 6252, at the cost of $4,682.
All ambulance rescues are being purchased from piggybacking off the Florida Sheriff’s Associations Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #FSA25-VEF19.0. The Awarded Contractor, ETR, LLC, was contacted and agreed to honor pricing from the Florida Sheriff’s Association Contract; the acknowledgement of the piggyback purchase with pricing and specifications are attached.
These ambulance rescues will be replacing property #35927, #35929, and #36018.
