Conduct a public hearing approving the Resolution to adopt budget adjustments that amend the FY24/25 budget. These adjustments which impact various funds are needed to align the FY24/25 budget with required changes and actual activity.

Budgeted Action:

Approve Resolution authorizing the budget adjustments as listed on Table 1 of the Resolution. These budget adjustments impact various funds in the FY24/25 budget.

 

Background:

On a quarterly basis, the Fiscal Services Division reviews budgets and funds that require amendment. Budget adjustment requests range from appropriations from reserve accounts to capital projects that require more funds due to unanticipated costs. During this process, a resolution and, in some cases, a public hearing is held to amend the budget per Sec.129.06, Florida Statutes.
