BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

Florida statute provides that each Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) shall recommend to this Commission on the Transportation Disadvantage a single Community Transportation Coordinator. The agreement for the CTC is not to exceed a five (5) year period. The Resolution recommends Charlotte County Transit as the CTC to the Charlotte County Punta Gorda MPO for an additional five (5) year term.
