Approve award of Request for Letters of Interest File #26-384, Work Order #8 (Contract 25-643), Regulatory Compliance Services - Wastewater and Reclaimed Water with Kimley-Horn of Sarasota, Florida for the not-to-exceed amount of $250,000.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

It is the intent of the Charlotte County Utilities Department (CCU) to secure the services of an engineering firm to perform various tasks regarding Regulatory Compliance pertaining to the Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Systems under the Professional Services Library Contract File 25-643.

 

On an annual basis, a professional engineering firm assists CCU with managing and maintaining the wastewater and reclaimed water regulatory compliance requirements for facilities and systems it owns and operates. The regulatory requirements include those established and enforced by FDEP and Southwest Florida Water Management District.

 

The complete Scope of Services along with the associated fees are attached. Utilities has reviewed and approves the Scope and Fee submitted and recommends award to Kimley-Horn for the not-to-exceed amount of $250,000.
