BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background: 

Charlotte County serves as the fiscal host of the Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership (CHNEP) to provide an array of operational support services, including entering into agreements on its behalf in support of the implementation of CHNEP’s Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan. Charlotte County to accept the grant funding on behalf of the Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership. The grant funds the Budget & Work Plan for the Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership (CHNEP). CHNEP’s funding leverages and complements local efforts. Note that this Award does not require a signature and is already considered accepted (as no action taken by grantee within 21 days of its transmittal on 4/7/26).
