Approve Change Order #1 to File 25-062, Kings Highway and Harborview Road Intersection Improvements at the unit prices submitted, for an additional cost of $99,377.77, which was awarded to Andrew Sitework LLC, of Fort Myers, Florida for a new total cost of $1,534,864.72.

Budgeted Action:
No action needed. Budgeted in the Capital Improvement Project "Harborview Rd/Kings Highway Intersection Improvements" as approved in the FY25 budget process. Grant funding in the amount of $2,500,000.00 is included in the FY25 budget for Greater Charlotte Street Lighting District. Grant funding will be provided by Florida Department of Transportation. There is no local match required.

BACKGROUND (Why is this Action Necessary, and What Action will be accomplished)

Background:
The purpose of this bid is to secure the services of a licensed Contractor for intersection improvements at Kings Highway and Harborview Road. The project includes milling and resurfacing, auxiliary lane widening, drainage improvements, signalization, intelligent transportation system improvements, lighting improvements, and signing and pavement markings as indicated on the construction plans.
Public Works is requesting a change order to include quantities that were inadvertently left off the Bid Form at the time of publication.
The Bid Form had 13 linear feet, for item 630-2-11, Conduit, Furnish and Install, Open Trench, and an additional 193 linear feet is needed, at the unit price of $329.23, for an additional $63,541.39.
The Bid Form had 2 boxes for item 635-2-14, Pull and Splice Box, 17" X 30" Cover Size, and an additional 18 boxes are needed at the unit price of $1,990.91, for an additional $35,836.38.
